Axiom Sewers + Plumbing is a growing company in the greater Portland metro area providing integrity-driven service to residential and commercial customers since 2014. Our team is looking to immediately hire an experienced journeyman plumber with comfortability to work in the field performing plumbing repairs/replacements as well as assess and write up estimates for plumbing repairs on non-field work days. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership position to manage our plumbing division (though not required).
Duties Include:
- Perform residential and light commercial service plumbing including: install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures; locate and repair water line leaks and/or remove clogs; repair or replace damaged parts or fixtures, and other skillful plumbing tasks as needed
- Partner with sewer division for any interior plumbing/sewer pipe installation needs corresponding with tank disconnections or waterline installations or replacements
- Diagnose plumbing problems during service calls and work to resolve any issues
- Lead/train an apprentice plumber
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace
- Up to once per day, perform scheduled estimate visit appointments to assess, diagnose, and recommend work needed to future customers; write up resulting estimates using an online CRM program
- Provide friendly, professional, and effective communication with customers and coworkers
- Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes
- Complete onsite inspections as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
- 5 years experience as a journeyman plumber with active license
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and plumbing standards for Oregon (and Washington preferred)
- Knowledgeability for accurate job costing
- Strong work ethic and dependability is a MUST
- Team player with personable attitude

Axiom PDX is a sewer installation and excavation construction company working in the greater Portland Metro area providing service to homeowners since 2014. Our team is looking to immediately hire a sewer and excavation laborer with experience in the field to assist our sewer and excavation crews!

Duties Include:
- Digging by hand and with the assistance of machines for excavation
- Replacing and repairing sewer pipes
- Assisting crew leads by gathering necessary materials and performing labor tasks to assist the team
- Removal of concrete and aggregate material as needed
- Backfilling in excavation areas
- Site clean up
- Testing lines for satisfactory operation as needed
- Loading debris and excavated material into containers or trucks for hauling away

Responsibilities
Safely navigate traffic while driving a variety of vehicles hauling various pieces of construction equipment and materials around the metro area region. Perform vehicle and equipment pre-trip inspections and maintain proper mileage records for ODOT trucking reports.
Qualifications
- Must pass background check.
- Must pass drug & alcohol check.
- Must have minimum of Class B CDL.
- Self-starter highly motivated.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- Excavation equipment experience preferred.
Compensation: $28.00 – $35.00 Hourly
